Courses relevant to the application for an Electrician Licence under Regulation 4(1)(ab) of the Electricity (Electrical Workers) Regulations:
EN032 Licenced Electrician Preparatory Course conducted by the Singapore Institute of Power and Gas
 
Courses relevant to the application for an Electrical Technician Licence under Regulations 4(2)(b) and 4(2)(c) of the Electricity (Electrical Workers) Regulations:
EN033 Licenced Electrical Technician Preparatory Course conducted by the Singapore Institute of Power and Gas
 
Courses for Cable Detection Worker Licence under Regulation 3 of the Electricity (Cable Detection Workers) Regulations
Courses relevant to the application for a Cable Detection Worker Licence under Regulations 3(a), 3(b) and 3(c) of the Electricity (Cable Detection Workers) Regulations:
ELC07 WSQ Detect and Locate Underground Cables Course conducted by the Singapore Institute of Power and Gas
 
Eligibility Requirement for Application of Electrician licence
An applicant who meets the following requirements may apply for the electrician's licence -
(a) possesses a National Institute of Technical Education Certificate which curriculum is relevant to the electrical work which an electrician is authorised to perform or such other qualification as may be acceptable to the Authority; and has not less than 2 years practical experience in Singapore relevant to the electrical work which an electrician is authorised to perform; or
(b) has not less than 10 years practical experience in Singapore relevant to the electrical work which an electrician is authorised to perform; or
(c) has not less than 5 years practical experience in Singapore relevant to the electrical work which an electrician is authorised to perform; and has successfully completed a course of instruction specified on the approved courses webpage that is relevant to the electrical work which an electrician is authorised to perform.

Eligibility Requirement for Application of Electrical Technician licence
An applicant who meets the following requirements may apply for the electrical technician's licence -
(a) possesses a diploma majoring in electrical power engineering relevant to the electrical work which an electrical technician is authorised to perform, or such other qualification as may be acceptable to the Authority; and has not less than 2 years practical experience in Singapore relevant to the electrical work which an electrical technician is authorised to perform; or
(b) possesses a diploma majoring in electrical power engineering relevant to the electrical work which an electrical technician is authorised to perform, or such other qualification as may be acceptable to the Authority; and has not less than one year practical experience in Singapore relevant to the electrical work which an electrical technician is authorised to perform; and has successfully completed a course of instruction specified on the approved courses webpage that is relevant to the electrical work which an electrical technician is authorised to perform; or
(c) possesses an electrician's licence; and has not less than 5 years practical experience in Singapore relevant to the electrical work which an electrician is authorised to perform, beginning on the date the electrician's licence was issued to him; and has successfully completed a course of instruction specified on the approved courses webpage that is relevant to the electrical work which an electrical technician is authorised to perform.

Eligibility Requirement for Application of Cable Detection Worker Licence
An applicant who meets the following requirements may apply for the Cable Detection Worker's licence -
(a) possesses a diploma majoring in engineering, architecture, building, land surveying or any other discipline relevant to the construction of structures, or such other qualification as may be acceptable to the Authority; and has not less than 2 years relevant experience; and has successfully completed a course of instruction specified on the approved courses webpage that is relevant to cable detection work; or
(b) possesses a National Institute of Technical Education Certificate majoring in engineering, architecture, building, land surveying or any other discipline relevant to the construction of structures, or such other qualification as may be acceptable to the Authority; and has not less than 5 years relevant experience; and has successfully completed a course of instruction specified on the approved courses webpage that is relevant to cable detection work; or
(c) possesses a Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (Level 5) Certificate under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications framework, or such other qualification as may be acceptable to the Authority; and has not less than 10 years relevant experience; and has successfully completed a course of instruction specified on the approved courses webpage that is relevant to cable detection work.
