minimise damages to electricity cables, it is a mandatory
requirement to perform cable detection work prior to the
commencement of any earth works.
Cable detection work must be carried out by a licensed cable
detection worker.
Authority Conferred
A licensed cable detection worker is entitled to perform cable
detection work.
He should inform or advise the earth works contractor, who
engaged him, of the location of the cables detected within the
worksite. |
